Where can I find Hotel in Pokhara?

As we know, Pokhara is a tourism area and finding hotel isn’t that hard here.  I will talk about the local areas that will help you to make your decision.

If you came to Pokhara on public bus or micro van, they will drop you at Prithvi Chowk, Pokhara.

Let’s say, you are at Prithvi Chowk.

Prithvi Chowk is the commercial area, where you can see the statue in the middle of the junction.  You can see number of businesses, hotels, hospitals and the exciting thing is; you can get public transport easily to every corner of Pokhara and even to every part of Nepal.  From Prithvi Chowk, you can get public bus or hire taxi to Lakeside.  Public bus takes a bit time, while taxi takes maximum 10-15 minutes.

Lakeside is the tourist hub in Pokhara.  If you are here for a chill then you should definitely visit there.  You can find number of hotels, restaurants, club, cafe, trekking gear store, thanka’s, travel agents, money changer, pashmina store and many more.

If you came to Pokhara by taxi or tourist cab then it would not be a problem getting there.  You can ask them to drop you at Lakeside.

Similarly, if you came to Pokhara by Flight then you will be landed at Pokhara Airport.  You will find taxi service outside the airport; you can ask them to drop you at Lakeside.  It doesn’t take more than 10 minutes.

And lastly, if you came to Pokhara by tourist bus then you will be dropped at Tourist Bus Station, Mustang Chowk, Pokhara.  You can find taxi service or you can also use public bus or you can walk as Mustang Chowk is very close to Lakeside.

Once you reached Lakeside, you will find wide range of hotels and resort.  You can visit them personally, check the facilities and if all good, close the deal.
