Reach the Unreached

It’s been three years since I started writing a tourism blog. I would say it was the right decision to start writing that is helpful for travelers. In this blog, I tried my best to add information about Pokhara; however, there are still many things to add to my blog. Summarizing these three years it was a learning experience for me. Tamu Losar, Did you hear about it?

As per the Nepali calendar, Tamu Losar is celebrated in the month of Poush. It is one of the biggest festivals in the Gurung community. This festival is particularly celebrated on Poush 15, which usually lies between late December and early January. Since Tamu and Losar means Gurung Community and New Year, it conclusively reflects the beginning of Gurung New Year. Therefore, Poush 15 has its huge importance across the Gurung Community.

Asadh 15- The Ropai Festival of Nepal

Asadh is the popular month in Nepal’s calendar because of the very famous Asadh 15, The Ropai Festival of Nepal. This festival marks the end of the crop plantation. People celebrate this festival with the hope to get the maximum output of their cultivation. On this day, People go to the farm, start plowing and planting the field. They splash mud to one another in between, which enhances the excitement among the participants. The environment becomes so much pleasure; you wish this day never stops.

Why you should visit Nepal’s countryside?

“Ow, what a feeling to be here”, one of my friends screamed with a loud noise. And it was while we were roaming across the Nepal’s countryside. We all were amazed to see the beautiful scenery there but later I realized, Nepal is a country full of marvelous surroundings. So, wherever we go, we will be surprised every time.  It is so true but still, many factors make the countryside much more valuable.
