There is no doubt about the beauty of Pokhara; It has many things embraced with it either adventure, natural scenery, hospitality, or many more.  A unique combination like this can be seen very rarely across the world.    Pokhara is a complete mix bag full of the travel ecosystem; nearby hills and the sparkling Himalayas agitate travelers to hike across those lands and feel the air that flows from those Himalayas.  It may be the reason why tourism activity like hiking is the utmost priority among the travelers in this city.  There are many popular hiking trails in Pokhara.  Among them, hiking across Jhuprangkot is one of the newest ones but still, it is at the initial stage.

Jhuprangkot Hike

The Jhuprangkot hike starts from Gharmi up to where we took a vehicle from Pokhara; the pleasant environment and the beautiful view compel everyone to hike as soon as they arrive at that place.

Walking across the villages, talking with locals didn’t realize the long distances; we traveled: We walked almost 1.5 hours to reach Dhikidada.

Dhikidada is a beautiful village; where we stayed for the break but unfortunately, we didn’t find any tea houses; however, this place has lovely people who will help you manage everything you are struggling with. It made our trip much secure and most importantly, enjoyable as well.

We then headed towards Jhuprangkot, which took 2.5hours to get there. We walked into jungles; that were full of adventurous experiences.  Encountering locals on the way gave me a kind of relief like we weren’t alone there. The creaking sound of branches, the wind whistling around, and the humming of insects were prevailing amazing vibes. As soon as we reached Jhuprangkot, we were flattened seeing the beautiful Himalayas range from there. After enjoying those experiences, we returned to Pokhara in the same way.

This place has a huge potential to be one of the best hiking spots. The environment is so much fascinating; everybody will love it unconditionally.

This place has come into notice recently; hopefully, it will be a popular tourist destination in the long run. Since there are many things to work across, I hope we can see lots of tea houses and the basic facilities across the trail in a near future.
