How to find good hotel in Kathmandu?

I could understand how you would feel when you plan to visit new places.  When it comes to me, I am always excited but somewhere I am afraid whether I would find good hotel or not.  And, it is because I had a worst experience many years ago.  So, wherever I goes; I always make sure, I find a good hotel and with the best deal.

As soon as you landed Kathmandu; the capital city of Nepal, you will find taxi service outside the airport. If you have booked hotel already then it’s not a problem, taxi will help you to get into that hotel but make sure, you have a correct address.  Similarly, if you are here on your full package then you don’t need to worry at all.  The travel agents will make all the necessary arrangement.  But if you haven’t booked then you have to find good hotel by yourself and believe me, it would be an amazing experience.

You need to have little knowledge about Kathmandu; Sundhara, Thamel, Airport Area, Gaushala are the tourism area, where you can find hotel easily.  Hire the cab to one of the tourist place, Visit the hotel, Check the room, ask for facilities and if you think this entire works well then close the deal. 

If you ever face this kind of problem then hire taxi/cab service and ask them to drop you in the tourist area; there you can find hotel easily.

But I suggest you to make all the necessary arrangement before you visit new places and make sure you make enough research about that place as well.  You can gather lots of information through internet these days.  I hope this would definitely enhance your travelling experience.
