Further, Let us hear from him.

Hello and Welcome Tej,

How cycling became your passion, could you please share that with us?

I am very much passionate about adventure and also I am a sport’s guy, so cycling has always been a part of my life.  Slowly, it turns out to be my passion; which I realized in my late 20’s.

How do you start your day?

I usually start my day by cycling around the Phewa Lake.  Since that trail is located nearby, it prevail an amazing vibes and also, it is a good way to be with the nature.

How does cycling enhance your travel experience?

I am very fond of travelling.  I have visited number of places but I always lack some kind of connection with those locations.  It is because there was no any kind of engagement between the place and myself.  What I realized later is; you have to travel being in a place, only then you can experience the environment properly.

So wherever it’s possible, I started travelling on cycle.  It helps me to create a strong bond with the destination.  The other important aspect is you can be with the nature everywhere.  You can reach anywhere which is not accessible for the motor vehicle.  This gives a countless experience.

What is the importance of cycling on various aspects?

Cycling has its huge importance on different field.  Since cycling is a social activity it brings people together.  It reduces emission of CO2.  It reduces every kind of pollution whether it is Air, land, Water and others.

Cycling contributes to healthier lives by helping to prevent a large number of severe and chronical diseases.  It helps in the improvement of mental health.  Beside this, there is a huge possibility of cycle tourism for the tourism business.

You have visited number of countries.  What do you say if you have to compare with Nepal?

I have been to more than 15 countries and truly, Nepal is blessed with the nature.  Nepal has a huge potential to be the top destination for the tourism across the world.  Since Nepal offers huge variety of outdoor adventures, it can be the tourism hotspot internationally.  Plus, the hospitality we offer is very unique compared to other countries.

The government should now focus on the infrastructural development and only then, we will be able to take an optimum advantage of our attractions.

What are the beautiful places to visit in Nepal?

Pokhara, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur, Ilam are the beautiful places.  Other beautiful places in Nepal are Annapurna Base Camp, Lomanthang, Jomsom, Mustang and Mardi Himal.

What can travellers expect to experience in those places?

Beautiful Landscape, Amazing Himalaya’s, Country’s Lifestyle, Wide range of Flora and Fauna, Mesmerizing View, Green Forest, Culture, Tradition, History, Religious Belief, Warm Hospitality are some of the experience, which travellers can expect there.

Is it possible to travel those places on cycle?

Yes, many of the places are feasible for cycling.  However, you need to be careful while cycling across the dirt road.

Which cycling trail you love the most?

Lomanthang to Pokhara is the best cycling trail I prefer.

Lastly, would you say something to our readers?
