Pokhara is an amazing destination, which purely reflects the quality of heavenly environment.  The charming ambience of valley has always attracted the visitor’s and that is the reason, why Pokhara is on the bucket list of many travellers.  The beautiful scenery along with the perfect mixture of ancient and modern fusion enhances the beauty of this beautiful city.

A beautiful Himalayan range as well as number of attractions across Pokhara delights everyone.  Barahi Temple, Bindyabasini Temple, Bhadrakali Temple, Sarangkot, Kahun Danda, Gupteshwor Cave, Devi’s falls, Matepani Gumba and Peace Pagoda are some of the many popular places which prevails an amazing experience.  Infact, Pokhara is a mixed bag; where anyone can find the blend of everything that the travellers expected.

Renting a car or taxi is a best option, I would suggest.  It eases your mobility.  You can explore wherever you want.  You will have lots of time to spend for yourself while sightseeing; Plus you will have the chance to see as much as you can.  You don’t need to worry about getting into wrong direction as the car or taxi driver will be guiding you.

Though it stands out to be the right alternative; it is costly compared to others.  However, there is always a space for negotiation and even you can compare the price with other service provider as well.  We never know where we get the best deal.

Getting a good driver is another challenge everywhere.  I would share one of my friends experience.  He was here with his friends and they rented a car but unfortunately, the driver wasn’t that good.  They cancelled that trip in the mid way and returned back to hotel.  Not all the drivers are bad but choosing wisely definitely enhances the best travel experience.

There are very few companies that offers a car only but I think the travellers should hire car along with the driver, since, it ensures your safety.

Public taxis’ are found everywhere; you can negotiate and book directly.  Also, there is an availability of tourist car for which you need to contact the travel company or hotel, you are living.  Tourist car are pretty much comfortable compared to public one.  But they are a bit expensive.  So, it completely depends upon you to figure out, which suits you the most.  Make sure you compare the prices before finalizing any booking.
